Social Media Casting Assistant

We are looking for a social media assistant to work across a casting campaign, in search of an actress with a disability for a feature film, Oct/November 2019. 

 

The ideal candidate should:

 

-       Have extensive experience using social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, including creating and writing text for posts

-       Have some knowledge of disability and organisations/ influencers who work in this space and how to reach them

-       Have access to a computer and phone line

-       Be reliable and self motivated, as they will be working some of the time remotely

-       Have an interest in learning more about the casting process for film and television, as well as film production in general. 

 

This is a paid opportunity for a candidate with a physical disability.

Jessie Buckley took home the award for Most Promising award at the 2018 BIFAs in a night which saw the film recognised with nominations in a further 9 categories including Best British Independent Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Actress.

This follows on from Stray Bear’s 2016 Brit List project THE ENEMY WITHIN written by Brian Martin.

Shoot Begins for BAD DRAWINGS Short Film

Directed by Peter Snelling, the short film is a pilot for the feature film in development.

The short stars Olivier winner Anthony Boyle, Rizzle Kicks' Jordan Stephens and Three Girls star Ria Zmitrowicz
